About Voorhees High School Music Association

o We provide funds to offset the costs of students who are accepted into regional, state, and national music ensembles and training camps outside of the High School.

o We provide opportunities for individual students to fundraise to offset the costs of school sponsored music trips.

o We provide funds to the school music department to help offset costs of music programs such as the Instrumental Pops concert and the vocal Coffeehouse.

o We provide parental support to the music educators as needed.

o We organize the donation and set up of refreshments at music concerts.

o We organize and subsidize the year-end banquet and dance for music students.

o We provide additional funds to help pay for sheet music purchased by the music department.

o We provide resources to bring in additional marching band tech support (color guard, percussion, winds)

o We provide financial resources to purchase additional Color Guard & Marching Band Equipment

o We provide scholarships to selected seniors.  (to be eligible for a scholarship, families need to be VHSMA members for at least 2 years, including the students senior year)
